Matic robot vacuum gets FCC waiver despite US assembly

The Matic robot vacuum became the first to receive an FCC ban waiver on October 2nd, though it didn't need one. Matic assembles robots in Mountain View, California, using an off-the-shelf Intel chip already approved by the FCC. The waiver may help if Matic expands foreign production later.

At the moment we might be the only floor cleaning robot built in America, that is becoming one of the key value propositions for our product.
