Bahraini artist showcases steel installation at Istanbul fair

Bahraini artist Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa unveiled "Inhabited Crate," a steel grid structure, at the 21st Contemporary Istanbul art fair. Positioned at Tersane Istanbul's historic waterfront overlooking the Golden Horn, the installation invites visitors to experience shifting light and shadows while engaging with movement and space.

The historic setting enabled dialogue between the work and its surroundings, exploring themes central to his practice: Movement, light, space and people's relationship with their environment.
