Bahrain Tackles Diabetes and Obesity Crisis

Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa opened Bahrain's second Diabetes and Obesity Conference. The two-day event, organized by the Bahrain Diabetes Society with Education Plus, gathers experts from Bahrain, GCC countries, and Jordan. Sessions cover diabetes in children, prevention, precision medicine, artificial intelligence, and glucose monitoring technologies.

The Kingdom of Bahrain continues to prioritise the prevention of chronic diseases, particularly diabetes and obesity, through health and awareness initiatives, early detection, and the use of scientific advances and modern technologies.
