Hurricane Polo weakens after second Mexico landfall
Hurricane Polo made a second landfall near Guaymas as a Category 1 hurricane on Tuesday, with maximum sustained winds of 65 mph. The storm previously crossed Baja California Sur as a Category 2 hurricane, flooding roads and toppling utility poles. Forecasters warn Polo could dump 4 to 6 inches of rain across Sonora state.
