Eating together lowers blood sugar spikes, study finds
Hebrew University researchers found that people eating standardized carbohydrate meals with others experienced lower blood glucose levels and quicker recovery than when eating alone. The study, published in Science Advances, demonstrates Social Physiology: the body regulates itself more efficiently in the presence of social partners.
