Bahrain's NIHR observes Russian State Duma elections

Ali Ahmed Al Derazi, Chairperson of Bahrain's National Institution for Human Rights, observed Russia's State Duma elections at the invitation of the Russian Commissioner for Human Rights. He visited polling stations and election headquarters, reviewed voting procedures, and participated in a roundtable on election monitoring and best practices.

He reviewed the institution's experience in election monitoring, stressing the importance of dialogue and exchange of expertise and experiences, despite differences in legal systems and national circumstances.
