Gold holds steady after one-month low

Gold held steady on Tuesday at $4,302.13 per ounce after hitting its lowest point since August 7 on Monday. U.S. gold futures declined 0.2% to $4,341.70. Spot silver steadied at $63.25, while platinum gained 0.7% to $1,770.81 and palladium fell 0.4% to $1,288.25.
