Diyar Al Muharraq sponsors Al Muharraq Sports club’s Basketball team

Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the largest real estate developers in Bahrain, has announced its sponsorship of Al Muharraq Sports Club’s Basketball Team.

The sponsorship agreement signing ceremony was held in the presence of Shaikh Duaij bin Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Vice President of Al Muharraq Sports Club’s Basketball Team and Eng. Ahmed Ali Alammadi, CEO of Diyar Al Muharraq, alongside other officials from both organisations, on Monday 28th December 2020, in Zain Bahrain Basketball Arena.

Al Muharraq Sports Club is one of the top sports clubs in Bahrain and also one of the oldest clubs amongst the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) since its establishment in 1928. The club has His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect him, as the Honorary President for the fifth consecutive year. It is also well-known for its achievements at the local and regional levels in many sporting activities, mostly in football, basketball and volleyball.

Shaikh Duaij bin Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Vice President of Al Muharraq Sports Club’s Basketball Team commended Diyar Al Muharraq sponsorship and said, “We would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to Diyar Al Muharraq for this generous initiative. We have continued to witness Diyar Al Muharraq’s contributions to supporting the sports sector in the Kingdom, and through this sponsorship, we look forward to continuing our journey to achieve more accomplishments and success to the club and the Kingdom.”

From his side, Eng. Ahmed Ali Alammadi, Chief Executive Officer of Diyar Al Muharraq, commented, “We are very pleased of this initiative that reflects our commitment to our social responsibility efforts, which also stems from our keenness to contributing towards elevating our beloved Kingdom’s status in various forums, including the sports sector.
