Another initiative of VIVA Jusoor that was highlighted at the Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa award for Voluntary work, was its co-initiative with Conserving Bounties Society which focuses on sourcing surplus food from large gathering events or hotels/restaurants and deliver food parcels to families in need. The society was recognised for its contribution under the ‘Societies’ category for making significant progress in reaching out to the local community and helping families and individuals gain access to balanced meal and nutrition they need.
Established in 2009 by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Award seeks to honor individuals and organizations in Bahrain and around the world that have served their local community and humanity as whole.
