IKEA Bahrain opens

IKEA Bahrain, the Swedish furniture largest store in the region, was officially inaugurated yesterday by Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, under the patronage off Deputy King HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The furniture giant’s store is set up in Salmabad on an area of 37,000sqm, consist a 6,200sqm showroom, a 6,000sqm market hall for accessories, a 5,000sqm self-serve area and a 4,000sqm full-serve area.

The huge complex also have 650-seats restaurant, the biggest in the kingdom, open from 8.30am to 9.30pm Sunday to Wednesday and from 8.30am to 12.30am Thursday to Saturday.

The store is open to the public from today and the daily timing is 9am to 10pm Sunday to Wednesday and from 9am to 1am Thursday to Saturday.
